As young children grow very quickly they experience huge changes to their posture and this can cause quite a lot of pain – specifically in the back, legs and hips. If this wasn't enough of a challenge on their bodies, add to the mix their tendency to be a little clumsy and fall over a lot and there you have a recipe for aches and pains!
Other challenges children face as they grow older are things like carrying a heavy school bag around all day, sitting in awkward positions on their phones or computer games and over-training in their competitive sports.
At the clinic our experts have a wide range of techniques suitable for children of all ages and our good communication skills allow them to feel relaxed and comfortable during their consultations. All children under 18 must have an accompanying adult with them and this also helps to reassure and relax them to allow them to get the best out of their treatment.
Our treatment plans do not only remove the pain and improve mobility but also supply advice, stretches and exercises to prevent the problem reoccurring. This prevention over cure approach helps to prevent time off of school due to pain and also allow the children and adolescences to fully enjoy and compete in the activity/sport that they love.
