Pamper and Posture: Discover Local Wellness at Lordswood’s Health & Wellbeing Event in Chatham

Wellness Event Chatham

When life is busy, our own wellbeing is often the first thing to slip down the list. The niggling shoulder ache starts getting ignored and the constant feeling of being more tired than usual is brushed off.

It’s only when things start to build – physically or emotionally – that we realise how much we’ve been carrying.

At Lordswood Osteopathic Clinic, we see it all the time. People don’t usually book in because of one dramatic event. They come because lots of little things have stacked up. A sore back that’s been niggling for months. A sense of being “off” without quite knowing why.

That’s why we’re inviting you to hit pause and come along to Pamper and Posture, a relaxed, welcoming health and wellbeing event in Chatham, designed to help you reconnect with your body and explore local support in a calm, low-pressure setting.

What Is Pamper and Posture All About?

Running from 10am to 3pm on Sunday September 21 at Lordswood Leisure Centre, Pamper and Posture is a low-pressure, welcoming event that brings together local health, wellness and lifestyle services under one roof.

Whether you want to try something new, ask a health question you’ve been sitting on for months, or simply unwind with a relaxing treatment – there’s something here for everyone.

It’s your chance to explore what support is available locally, without the pressure of appointments or sales pitches.

What Can You Expect on the Day?

Whether you’re looking to ease some tension, pick up a few natural remedies, or simply enjoy a quiet moment to yourself, Pamper and Posture offers something for everyone.

You’ll find a blend of hands-on therapies, expert advice, shopping stalls and holistic treatments. You don’t need to book anything in advance – just wander through, stop where you’re drawn, and take the day at your own pace. Here’s some things you can expect:

Need a little headspace?

Treat yourself to some well-deserved downtime with relaxing therapies like Indian Head Massage, Thai Foot Massage or Reflexology. There’ll also be reiki, tarot readings and other gentle treatments to help you recharge – whether physically, emotionally or energetically.

Fancy a browse?

Pop by the pamper and lifestyle stalls where you’ll find beautiful pieces from Coral Belle Clothing Boutique and Fashion On A Ration, natural beauty products, essential oils and even locally made honey and beeswax goodies. It’s a great chance to support small local businesses and maybe treat yourself to something lovely.

Want to learn more about your body?

Our experienced osteopaths will be there giving you time to ask questions about those little niggles you’ve been meaning to get sorted. You can also learn more about our specialist services – including scar therapy and pelvic health – and get to know the gentle but powerful ways osteopathy can support your overall wellbeing.

Curious about other areas of your health?

You’ll also be able to explore how hypnotherapy might support your mental wellbeing or break habits and talk to the team at Insight Food Intolerance about how what you eat might be affecting how you feel. We’ll also be covering practical, everyday advice on topics like staying healthy at a desk job, with tips to prevent injury and tension – especially useful for those of us glued to screens. No judgement, just honest answers and guidance.

Looking for inspiration?

Drop in on one of our relaxed expert talks – informal, bite-sized sessions covering posture, holistic health and helpful takeaways to support your wellbeing beyond the event. The full talk schedule will be released soon.

Whether you’re curious about a particular treatment or just fancy a quiet cuppa with friendly faces, it’s a great way to check in with your body and explore what’s available locally.

What Makes This Event Different?

Pamper and Posture isn’t about leaflets, jargon or one-size-fits-all advice.

It’s a community-led day shaped by people who genuinely care, professionals who see firsthand how stress, pain and overwhelm can quietly chip away at our wellbeing.

Instead of quick fixes, this event is about exploring what you need to feel supported, whether that’s a chat about back pain, a conversation about women’s health you’ve been putting off or simply a moment of calm in a reiki chair.

It’s open, inclusive and relaxed – and completely free.

The event is free to enter, with complimentary advice available from some practitioners – such as hypnotherapy and food intolerance specialists. If you’d like to treat yourself on the day, there will also be optional paid treatments and shopping opportunities to explore. It’s open, inclusive and relaxed – the perfect chance to pause and focus on you.

A Community Space For Everyone

This event isn’t just for women, or for people in pain, or those who already meditate or do yoga. It’s for anyone who wants to feel a little better or is simply curious about what support is out there.

There’ll be expert advice, taster sessions and conversations covering a broad mix of health and lifestyle needs – from osteopathic care and gentle movement, to holistic therapies and support through major life changes. Whether you come alone or with a friend, you’ll find a friendly, welcoming space with zero judgement.
